In college I created a motion graphic and GIF to promote the Be the Match Bone Marrow Registry simply because my father and I decided to be on the registry. A blood stem transplant can be lifesaving for someone diagnosed with leukemia or lymphoma, but even with millions of potential donors already waiting, people still do not find matched on the registry. I thought the idea of a match paired with the cotton swab was cute for social media and might inform a few people that I knew.
